AWK Travel is a Houston-based travel advisory founded by Certified Travel Advisor, Krystal Weiss. I work with travelers who want their trips to feel intentional, not pieced together from a search engine and a prayer.

I'm not here to hand you a spreadsheet and call it a plan. I take the time to understand what you actually want from a trip: the pace, the depth, the feeling, and then I build something around that.

I came to travel advising from a background in education… which means I ask better questions, listen more carefully, and build trips that actually reflect how you travel, not how I think you should.

After years of traveling with my own family, I understood what it felt like to want a trip that went deeper than a highlight reel. That's what led me to found AWK Travel and earn my Virtuoso affiliation: so I could give other families and travelers the kind of experience that's harder to find than it should be.

My clients tend to be high-achieving professionals and families with full lives and high standards. They've done "fine" trips. Now they want something that lands differently. A place they've been meaning to go, a milestone worth marking, a trip their kids will actually remember.
